Arrival Fast Track at Thailand airports
After a long flight, the passport control queue is the most tiring part of the journey. Arrival Fast Track deals with exactly that: a FreePass assistant meets you at the gate holding a sign with your name and takes you to a separate passport control desk, past the main queue. Passport control itself usually takes 3–5 minutes.
Standard: passport control without the queue
Standard Fast Track covers the gate meeting and fast-track passport control. You then collect your bags and leave the terminal on your own. If you would like help with that part too, choose VIP.
VIP: from the gate to the terminal exit
With VIP, your assistant takes you through passport control, helps you collect your luggage from the carousel and walks you to the terminal exit, where they help you into a taxi or onto a bus. At Suvarnabhumi there is also VIP with a shuttle car, where you travel through the terminal by electric cart.
Arrival Fast Track is available at four Thai airports:
- Phuket HKT — Standard and VIP;
- Suvarnabhumi BKK — Standard and VIP with shuttle car;
- Don Mueang DMK — VIP;
- Chiang Mai CNX — VIP.
See prices for each airport. Standard and VIP are charged per passenger; the shuttle car is priced per car, which seats up to three.
Our figures show that with an assistant, getting from the aircraft to the exit takes 19 minutes on average instead of 1 hour 34 minutes — typically 15–25 minutes rather than one to two hours. Treat this as a guide rather than a guarantee: it depends on how many flights land at once, document checks and how quickly bags reach the carousel.
Who finds it most useful
Airport assistance makes a real difference after an overnight or long-haul flight, when you are travelling with children or older relatives, arriving in Thailand for the first time, or simply do not want to queue. If you need help getting around, consider the BKK shuttle car and tell the manager about your needs in advance.
A priority lane is an airline perk for business and first-class passengers. Fast Track is a separate airport service with no connection to your airline or ticket class, so you can book it with any ticket, economy included.
Fast Track speeds up the formalities; it does not let you skip them. Have your entry documents ready and complete the TDAC. The decision to admit you rests with immigration.
Send a request with your airport, arrival, service, local flight date and number of passengers. It helps to add your flight number straight away, although the manager will confirm it with you anyway. Our staff track your flight and any delays. See how it works for confirmation and payment.
